Our teaching approach

Trainee-centred teaching

All our interventions are based on alternating between the transfer of know-how and attitude (interpersonal skills), with practical exercises, tests with participants and situation analyses through extensive experience sharing. This method enables trainees to quickly assimilate the practices.

We build on the trainee’s existing knowledge. We combine various teaching methods: theoretical presentations, discussion sessions and case studies, enabling trainees to play an active role in the training session. During group training sessions, the emphasis is on interactivity, thereby incorporating the opportunity to progress as a team and succeed together.

Adaptable teaching methods

We build tailor-made solutions that precisely meet our clients’ objectives while taking their constraints into account. This means being able to draw on a range of different tools. That is why we have developed a wide range of learning methods which, used separately or in combination, enable us to develop solutions tailored to a wide variety of individual or collective needs.

Learning methods

This is a presentation: as experts, we talk and the trainee listens. A structured speech allows essential concepts to be conveyed in an unambiguous manner. Given the restrictive nature of this method, which the trainee undergoes passively, lectures are timed to leave plenty of room for more interactive teaching methods.

We demonstrate a personalised approach for trainees to understand. The demonstrative method allows trainees to experiment with new knowledge by repeating the steps of the demonstration and formulating the logical progression and conclusions of their demonstration themselves, in direct relation to their activity and practices.

Used in exercise sequences, the demonstrative method allows trainees to acquire knowledge through action, under the guidance of the trainer.

Through a series of questions and answers, the trainer builds on the candidate’s existing knowledge to help them grasp new concepts by connecting ideas through logical reasoning. The trainer’s role is to help the trainee structure their thinking and logically connect related ideas. This method is applied through conversation, during which the trainee(s) are invited to verbally express their thought processes, including hypotheses, certainties and doubts. The trainer structures the exchanges according to the educational objective.

According to Socrates, ‘Maieutics is the art of bringing minds to birth.’

The trainer prepares teaching materials in advance of the course. They make these materials available to the trainee so that they can draw conclusions by carrying out experiments. The aim is to let the trainee experiment and make mistakes, either alone or with the group, in order to make a lasting impression through practice and draw clear and achievable conclusions. This method puts the trainee in a position to imagine solutions to a given problem and to draw conclusions from their mistakes. At the end of the exercise, the trainer structures and reformulates the concepts highlighted during the discovery time offered to the trainee.

Individualised support helps to reveal or promote the practical exploitation of a person’s potential. The trainer bases their approach on the transfer of technical skills and appropriate attitudes with a view to increasing the effectiveness of the person being supported. The aim is to help the trainee become more agile, i.e. to enable them to put new knowledge into practice with newfound ease. The trainer provides individual support to a trainee in a training programme tailored to their situation and personal and professional expectations.

Your training project

Training formats

The training courses we provide are designed to ensure that the content is as relevant as possible to the trainees’ knowledge and professional needs.

We do everything we can to give trainees the best possible welcome and quickly guide them towards the objectives we have set together:

Inter-company

Organised in suitable premises according to a predefined schedule, these training courses bring together participants from different backgrounds. We welcome trainees 15 minutes before the start of the session. We take a break every half-day and accompany trainees for lunch at midday.

Intra-company and tailor-made

Training courses based on tailor-made programmes, adapted and organised for several company trainees, which can be based on different teaching methods.

Individual training

These training courses are based on personalised, tailored programmes. They are organised for one person and can be based on different teaching methods. A few days before your first individual training session, the trainer will contact you by telephone to confirm the appointment and the location.

Group training

These training courses are based on personalised, tailored programmes. They are organised for several people from the same or different sectors of activity and can be based on different teaching methods. Group sessions last a minimum of 3 hours. Trainees receive a notification within 10 days, followed by a reminder by email 2 days before the start of the training course.

Training courses generally take place at the company’s premises, but can also be organised at a suitable location chosen by the trainee(s) and trainer(s).

Training courses are face-to-face; the location, exact schedule, timetable and duration of the training sessions are agreed upon by both parties no later than the day before the first day of the training agreement.

The programme, attached to the agreement upon registration, indicates the purpose of the training course, the objective(s), the duration, the technical and educational resources used and the initial level of competence.

Teaching process

Verification of prerequisites

We contact the people to be trained to clarify the content of each course and determine the level of the participants. During an individual interview, we conduct a quick assessment to check the prerequisites of future trainees. If necessary, we provide recommendations so that each participant can access the training without technical difficulties.

Implementation of the training programme

For in-house training, the schedule is tailored to the trainee and trainer, who adapts their approach to the company’s premises and activities in order to effectively supplement the theory with concrete examples and practical exercises.

For inter-company training, we organise the session and the room. We prepare the invitations and send them to participants electronically. Our training courses are very practical, with each theoretical point systematically followed by concrete examples, experience sharing and/or exercises. We limit access to the course to ten people.

Assessment of the acquis

At the end of the training course, we offer an assessment covering most of the points covered during the course. At the end of the course, the trainer also completes an assessment form to check the trainee’s progress in relation to the objectives set and to highlight any areas for improvement or development. A ‘hot’ satisfaction survey is also completed by the trainee at the end of the course to enable our team to continuously improve our teaching approach and the quality of our courses.

Monitoring of return to work

Each trainer remains available to assist trainees upon their return to work. These privileged contacts allow for the correction and/or deepening of the knowledge acquired during training. A few weeks after the end of the course, trainees are also asked to complete a satisfaction survey, allowing them to reflect on the results of their training with a clear head, but also to set up new sessions if necessary.

Organisation of training courses

After the customisation stage of your project, your training agreement and personalised programme will be sent to you for registration. They will be accompanied by our internal regulations and general terms and conditions of sale. These documents include all the elements established during your preliminary assessment interview: prerequisites, objectives, content and course schedule.

Funding: Our organisation is registered on the list of training organisations with the Prefect of the Aquitaine region, which means you can access funding opportunities through continuing professional development funds. If necessary, we can assist you in your dealings with funding organisations at every stage of your project.

Registration deadlines: We can register trainees up to 15 days before the start of a training course. However, it is important to take into account the time needed to prepare and adapt your personalised project, which is why we advise you to contact us as soon as possible in order to anticipate all possible scenarios. The ideal timeframe for setting up your training project is 6 to 8 weeks before the start of the training course, which also allows sufficient time to apply for funding from bodies such as OPCO or FAF, which generally require applications to be submitted one month before the start of the training course.

Like all workers and job seekers, people with disabilities have the right to access continuing professional development. They can also benefit from specific funding and training tailored to their needs from specialist providers. We strive to include all audiences in our training activities and to respond in a personalised manner that is tailored to the needs of each of our candidates. If you have a disability, we can provide you with a list of partners who are able to assist with disability funds, and we can refer you to them if we are unable to directly meet your training needs.

Thanks to a personalised approach to each trainee’s needs, our team does everything possible to encourage trainee engagement and prevent dropouts:
– The course schedule, planning and location(s) are selected in advance, in consultation with the trainee, based on their availability and constraints and the availability of trainers.
– Appointment confirmations by telephone for individual sessions and email invitations for group sessions help to limit unexpected interruptions to training courses;
– The conditions for cancellation or early termination at the initiative of the trainee or trainer are indicated to the latter when the training agreement is signed.

During the training course, the trainer uses various assessment methods (multiple-choice questions, role-playing exercises, end-of-course tests, etc.) to assess the trainee’s level of understanding of the course content. At the end of the course, the trainer also completes a learning assessment form to report on the trainee’s progress in relation to the objectives and highlight areas for improvement and/or development. Our team of trainers remains at the trainees’ disposal outside of training hours to provide any additional guidance that may be required.

At the end of the training course, each trainee is given a training certificate stating the dates, duration and objectives of the training course and confirming that it has been successfully completed.
A post-experience satisfaction survey is also completed by the trainee at the end of the training course to enable our team to continuously improve its teaching approach and the quality of our training courses.
